What we've done

  • Paid work placements for young people in construction trades.
  • Nationally recognised Community Decorators project offering apprenticeships to 40 young people.
  • A tailored Job Linkage service providing support for residents to get back to work.
  • Employment Awards celebrating the achievements of local people.
  • Business start - up support for local people.

From 2001 to 2008 Back on the Map has helped over 1100 people back into work.
