What we've done

  • Work has now started on the £1 million regeneration of Hendon Beach.
  • The People's Wall, designed by residents, will be in place in Summer 2008.
  • We part funded the restoration of the Donnison School, now the Living History centre.
  • Planters on Villette Road.
  • Work has started on a new junior football pitch to be open to the public at Valley Road School.

By summer 2009 the regeneration of the Hendon Beach area will have opened up around 12 hectares of unused land for use by local residents and visitors.
