Wear Kids 

The overall aim of a family group conference within the crime prevention arena is to increase the effectiveness of the prevention intervention in diverting high-risk children from offending by mobilising the direct involvement and participation of children and their families in the design and review of "Integrated Support Plans". The Family Group Conferencing also offers an opportunity for victims / persons harmed by the young person's behaviour to contribute to the process and create a safe environment for them to articulate their experiences. The Family Group Conferencing provides an opportunity for a meeting between the individuals who have harmed or been harmed to discuss the impact and consequences of that behaviour and those affected by it.
