We are currently recruiting for two posts; a Community Support Officer who will support the delivery of our Community Services at Carnegie Community Corner and a Lettings & Business Development Officer who will work on our new ethical lettings offer as part of our Back on the Map Homes team. Post 1 - Community Support Officer

At Back on the Map, we pride ourselves on providing a wide range of community support services from our Carnegie Community Corner and from locations across Hendon. The number of residents using our services is always growing and we are now looking for a Community Support Officer who has a `can-do` attitude and who has the ability to help us realise our ambitions. The successful applicant will have a good range of practical community development skills and experience. This is a busy and varied role so you will need to be flexible and practical in your approach and have a good working knowledge of health and safety, child and vulnerable adult protection, volunteer recruitment & development and possess strong administrative/IT skills. As well as working as being part of a great team, improving lives and feeling valued, the successful applicant will receive £20k salary, 6% pension contribution, access to training and 28 days annual leave. The post is, initially, a fixed term 12 month contract, with continuation dependent of funding being secured.

Post 2 - Lettings & Business Development Officer

As well as providing a wide range of community support services, Back on the Map owns and manages 74 high quality homes in Hendon, Sunderland. We are now expanding our housing remit to manage other landlord properties in order to improve local living conditions and transform hundreds of families’ lives by providing responsive services to more tenants and create happy, stable and sustainable neighbourhoods.

We are now looking for an Lettings & Business Development Officer who has a `can-do` attitude and who has the ability to help us realise our ambitions. The successful applicant will have a good range of lettings/housing, business development, lettings allocation skills and experience; ideally gained in a similar environment together with general administrative and people skills. This is a busy and varied role so you will need to be flexible and practical in your approach, coupled with a good working knowledge of health and safety requirements.  If that sounds like you, then apply now.
