Kidz Power

The project aimed to provide an opportunity for children aged 6 - 16 to access Kidz Power and Teen Spirit fitness sessions at Raich Carter Sports Centre. It did this by providing a co-ordinated range of quality fitness sessions for children between the ages of 6 and 16 to partake in organised fitness sessions across the NDC area. Kidz Power targeted children aged 6 - 12 and then the young people progressed onto Teen Spirit from the age of 13 to 16. Each of the three local primary schools received 100 free sessions including 100 to Community Groups. Young people from across the area aged 13 - 16 had free access to Teen Spirit sessions.
