Flowering Hendon

Ten flower planters will be installed in Villette Road. These will be maintained by Sunderland City Council, volunteers, youth groups and school pupils. It is hoped that, if successful, the project will be expanded and additional planters will be installed throughout the area. The Environment Theme Team will work closely with the Green Space Officer and Street Pride to ensure a high level of upkeep for the planters.
