Construction Trades Learning Centre

Back on the Map funding contributed to the conversion of a disused building into a Construction Learning Centre.  The creation of the new centre provides sufficient space to develop the delivery of short courses offering a range of construction related skills to meet the local skills shortage.  This project supports the concept of a ‘centre of excellence for construction' that is a partnership of providers, employers and developers. The construction skills will complement the future development of properties in the area and contributes to the City wide Local Labour into Construction Initiative.
