CCTV

To help residents feel safe and secure Back on the Map has funded a CCTV system for the area. There are 10 cameras and 26 masts where the cameras can be located. This means that the cameras can be relocated when necessary to tackle specific issues. The cameras are monitored 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, by Sunderland City Council's civic centre control room.
