Back on the Map board

Back on the Map's management board is the main decision making body responsible for overseeing the whole of the New Deal for Communities programme in Hendon and the East End. The board is made up of 15 local residents, a local young people’s representative and two members from voluntary agencies. The board meets every six weeks and is independently chaired by Jules Preston.

The board's role is:

• to set policies and procedures and the partnership’s strategic and delivery plans;
• to make sure that strategies, policies and procedures are followed;
• to make sure we comply with terms set by Government for the New Deal for Communities funding; 
• to make sure funds are used to maximum benefit.
